Integration of the Dental Microscope in General Dentistry

We must be grateful to endodontist because they were the pioneers using the operating microscope in dental clinic. Nevertheless, if your clinic practice is not exclusively focus in endodontics but you only use the microscope for root canal treatments you are only enjoying a minimal amount of the benefits a microscope offers to general practitioners.

A dental microscope is a great clinical tool no matter the dental field you are focus on. Think it this way, would you like as part of your team something that?......

  1. Increases the accuracy and predictability of your procedures

  2. Allows clinicians to have illuminated working fields no other light sources can reach

  3. Improves our capacity to communicate with our patients, becoming an essential marketing tool.

  4. Enables clinicians the best visual access no matter the difficulties the clinical case has.

  5. Offers clinicians, in our view, the only way to work ergonomically in dentistry

  6. Takes your manual ability to a level of accuracy you didn´t expect.

  7. And last but not least, it shows you something new every day making dentistry a thrilling job.

Do you still think the microscope is a mere magnification device to perform root canal treatments?

In this course you will live the experience of working with a dental microscope. An experience that could mean a turning point in your clinical practice and through which you will conclude that the answer to the previous question is a resounding NO.

Our main goal is that the students know deeply the clinical benefits of using a microscope. How to use it in order to approach our patients reaching the visual access we need in each clinical procedure and decide which is the microscope configuration that meets our student´s clinical needs.

In other words, we give our students all the knowledge and expertise they will need to immediately apply it in their daily clinical workflow.
